Freezing stops stratification. If you had them in the fridge for four weeks, and you found them frozen for what you think could have been two weeks, you thawed them out for the remaining time, then they were only in stratification for two weeks.
If you don't have germination, you can put them back in the fridge to do stratification all over again, but you have to start over. You can't simply resume after they've been warmed up.
