For anyone who is in the market for a decent well priced light that uses good quality LEDS. AC Infinity has one of their 100 watt LED Grow Boards on sale for $99 USD. The light covers a 2 foot by 2 foot area. Comparable to the Mars Hydro TS600 minus the electric issue.

The light uses Samsung LM301B LED's

It uses a proprietary AC Infinity LED driver with a stated total system efficiency of 2.7 umol/s

Has an average PPFD output of 998 PPFD at 12 inches.

The light is dimmable

Errr... electric issue? I've got a Mars Hydro TS600 and have noticed the light starting to flicker recently (it's about 2 years old). Is this a wider thing than just my light?

Thank you! I just checked the specs and it's a TS-1000. My bad. Still seems to suffer from the same issues mentioned in the other thread .. excessive heat generation, flickering light output, etc. I haven't checked the voltage but am now concerned about that as well. I'll let you know if I decide to get rid of it.
