The ungainly monster pictured below is my indestructible Nepenthes ventrata. Originally a $20 dollar purchase at a craft fair, this beast will not die. I have baked it, frozen it, dried it, and drowned it, and it keeps coming back. Well, this puppy is way overdo for a haircut so I am giving away the cuttings. There are 3 growth points, and those cuttings will go to the first three people. There are probably at least 4 or 5 more cuttings that will give a couple of leaves, so I'm going to put the total at 8. I will cover shipping if you can't, but if you can I would appreciate a contribution to the cause. One way or another, the cuttings are going.

Regular give away format. Nothing fancy.

I'm going to need to put off sending your cuttings, if I am able to send them at all. I had to go out of town on an emergency and I was gone for a week and a half. In that time, I lost my Lady Luck and the ventrata is not looking happy. It will come back, but the vines are definitely suffering from lack of water. If I am able to get it to recover as it is, I will go ahead with the cuttings. Otherwise, I may have to trim it back in order to save the main plant.

I will keep you posted.
