I am looking to remove some of these stones, top with some LFS and keep the Ping rock centered. My question is what might be good to grow on the sides of the Ping rock? It is shallow and would be filled with water. Any ideas?

Utricularia! U sandersonii is easy and will give you lots of cute little flowers once it gets established. I can’t tell how big your container is but if you have room to build up a small section of “land” that is above the waterline that expands your options quite a bit.

ok I am now a little obsessed with the U sandersonii you mentioned. What does it eat if it's "traps" are subterranean? Can it be grown from seed? Need to check the seed bank now lol

I know they eat microscopic bugs, but I don't know which ones terrestrial ones eat.

I heard sandersonii seeds are to small to see. I asked how to pollinate them on a different thread and I believe someone mentioned that. I don't know if that is true though.
