I recently repotted my Cape Sundew from 50/50 Long fiber spaghnum moss/perlite to 50/50 peat/perlite
Since then there's been a lot of dying leafs, both new and old. Even some that didn't even form tentacles yet are dying. Is this just transplant shock or is there something more serious? Photos attached. Thank you!

It is likely just pouting. It will take it a month to recover.

hope let them see more light. It looks like they are lack of light.

ChefDean and Panman are both knowledgeable about growing CPs, I'm not familiar with Inter and Fly, but he probably knows a bit, too.

Give them time and good lighting and keep the grow mix moist...they should turn the corner by the first of the year.

Lots of people don't rinse the ingredients for their grow mix and the plants do well for them. I rinse mine before using (I refer to myself, at times, as "OCD-Me" ). By rinsing I can lower the TDS level in the soil (measured in the drain water) and reduce the algae/mold growth on the surface of the peat moss. As for the perlite, sometimes it contains "other" things...salts of some kinds, I've heard it mentioned. What I've found when rinsing is that there can be a bit of a sludge of fine particles in the bottom of the bucket...this approaches mud consistency. Also, the drain water is a milky white.
I don't rinse to a pristine, clear drain water but will rinse a couple of times. You may have done all of this and maybe not. It probably doesn't help/hurt anything...but I feel better doing it. Just thought I'd mention this.

I think, though, with time they will be fine...in my newbie/amateur view.

Every time I've repotted my Capes they sit in the pots for about a month before they start to get over it. I swear I can hear them cursing me for giving them a nice, clean, bigger pot to live in.

Like everyone else has said they are sulking, the are very moody about repots, give them a few weeks in good conditions and they will be back to their sticky, growing, normal selves.

Don't forget the light, lots of it. When I first tried growing sundews I was very timid about putting them in the strong AZ sun. After a few days of acclimating them, they thrived. The somewhat low outside humidity would shrink the dew blobs a bit, but by morning they were back. Since the weather has changed I have to keep them inside under grow lights. They're doing well but not as vigorous as they were in the summer.
