Does D. binata 'small, red form' self-pollinate? I have an open flower now. It's really pretty!

What does that mean? I just need to save pollen from one flower and put it on another?

Yes, you have to help the pollen to the stigma. Whether you do it manually, bugs do it, or maybe the wind, it needs some form of transmission because it won't do it like a cape or a spat.

Honestly, I might just give up already. Trying to wipe the anther on the stigmas is so hard and I keep dropping it. I just dropped it again and can't find it. It doesn't even look like anything went on the stigmas! (tbh, I might not even be putting it on the stigmas and it's just some other flower part)

tbh, I don't even know if I got any pollen on the stigma. I saw nothing on the brush so I just rubbed the brush all over the stigma and anthers. Hopefully something happens
