Hand pollinated twice daily for 3 days, was hoping to sell some seeds and give some away.
But not a single visible embryo of this

With seeds of these species, do you normally see the embryos?

Newbie alert, I had no prior experience with Nep seed. A few months ago I was excited to get N mirabilis seeds (naturally pollinated). But when I looked carefully I could not see any embryos, so disappointing I nearly tossed them out. Decided to try germination anyway, and SO glad I did! Those seeds have sprouted really well.

I hope it might be the same for your seeds - good luck!

Been awhile since I planted nep seeds. But, IIRC, that is how they looked.

^^^^ What they said 100%. If the seed pod casing looked viable, then definitely give it a try. If you still don’t want them, I’d be happy to take them off your hands lol.

Mirabilis globosa seed is short with small embryo. Different from most other species with an obvious large bulging embryo at the center. Since your plant is a hybrid with mostly globosa parentage, I suspect it could look that way.

I made globosa seeds regularly. It looks the same, just that I couldn't tell the seed size from the photo. If the seedpod did swell up, there is good chance that the seeds are viable.

I may have more than I know what to
do with. next time I will send some to seed bank rather than worry that folks will be disappointed if they do not germinate.

Nature is amazing !
