Hey all,

As some of you know, during winter dormancy I lost most of the plants in my collection, leaving me with a few left. I am currently trying to rebuild it, and have decided to clean out some unwanted plants out of my collection.

I have 2 nepenthes, one adult Sanguinea which is very healthy and is regularly opening new pitchers.

I also have a sub-par condition splendiana x mixta. This plant was gifted to me last year and I have kept it under grow lights since then.

This is a very rare lowland cross made up of four species, and my growing conditions and weather cannot make up for the intense and particular growing conditions it has. It’s growth point is active but it has no leaves.

I am willing to trade both of these plants to whoever is willing to trade a flytrap or 2. Please shoot me up an offer in DM form and we will go from there.

Thank you!
Max

Yeah that’s why I’m trying to get rid of it before it croaks. I’m paying extra attention to watering/heat/light and am nursing it back to health. Either way it’s not a good plant for my collection, too finicky.

To me, that plant already looks to be a goner. Unless it produces a new rosette from an axillary bud, I don't think the main growth will recover.

Ah man that sucks, it’s been producing pitchers but then all of a sudden half the leaves died. The growth point is still green and it appears to be alive, but I am skeptical about it surviving.

Just a note: it is more of a rooted cutting than a plant itself. I rooted it and then things went up and down since then.

Put that Sanguinea outside with 2-3 hours of direct sunlight and by the end of the summer you will not recognize it.

Thanks for the advice, will use it once I can afford another nep. Although I have been skeptical keeping it under direct light with the extreme summer heatwaves, the media would dry out within the hour and the leaves would burn off even with acclimation. My Neps and dews are currently under a TS600 dimmed halfways.
