Not here but I hope someone else does! I’ve had a few successful pollination attempts and one germinated really quickly (+/- 10 days), another one took 30+ days and I think there are still seeds germinating now at 6 weeks. Two others haven’t shown any signs of life. I’m curious about how long to wait before calling those unsuccessful. I haven’t been using heat mats or doing anything special. Any and all tips are welcome!

I’m pretty sure I cooked my first batch…
It was emarginata x cyclosecta.
I left the pot in a plastic bag with the end open on a sunny window and it got really hot. This new batch I’ve taken farther from the window, I really hope it takes. I bred my cyclosecta (darn thing won’t stop blooming after having no flowers the last few years) with my moranensis alba x emarginata (which I received from a trade with a flower bud intact and managed to get said bud to bloom). Soil is standard peat/ sand, I don’t really have much mineral media and figured the seeds would need more moisture to sprout.

I’ve attached the parents of this most recent batch, they are both beautiful plants as far as I’m concerned and I’d love to grow out their babies.

I was able to get 2 crosses of my own to germinate by putting them in the little takeout sauce cups with a moist towel and some indirect light

I have been using those cups too.
I have lowered the amount of light they get, hopefully that does something.
