EDIT 7-11-2022 -- I messed up!! I was looking at my collection last night and realized that I had mislabeled some photos that I posted recently. Two of the photos originally posted to this thread, including the really jacked up looking trap, were actually photos of the plant Carnivoria Crusader. I'll start a new thread with those two photos here:

For those of us who like freaky flytraps, Carnivoria Asmodeus is awesome!

So far this plant is quite reliable with its "Mirror-style" traps and the variability of the mutant traps is like nothing I've ever seen before!! Most plants that exhibit flanges or "Mirroring", including the original 'Mirror' flytrap only do it sporadically and oftentimes will have no traps at all with flanges on them, but Asmodeus seems to be more stable than the others we've grown and we've grown a ton of them!

Wow! Is it more stable than the Mirror x Mirror? That plant looked pretty consistent...

That plant was pretty consistent! But this one is much better. Mirror x Mirror still faded to minimal freaky traps. I guess it will remain to be seen if Asmodeus does as well but so far it seems quite stable and the variability of the odd traps is incredible!
