I thought this was a nice overhead shot of the SD5000 as the plants are really starting to hit their stride.

Idk how you guys can tray water Flava. Every time I try they end up looking terrible. Setup looks great

I'm curious why? Still pretty new to the sarracenia obsession but I have seedlings in trays and adults in a bog. What conditions do they prefer? Drier? Top water?

They say Flava can be tray watered and I see people do it but mine looked terrible when I tried. It may be the toxicity of my water or my soil comp though. I top water all of my Sarrs because its easier that way. I do have a small white 1020 I keep the purps and flava in to float them a day if it rains but nothing consistent

Nice. How'd you take the picture? Did you use a drone, or climb a tree?

I envision Squirrel Team Six dug in at the corner of the yard in some pre-existing chipmunk holes (hot to be mistaken for foxholes). They're wearing WWII aviation helmets with the ear flaps hanging down as they peer through tiny binoculars at the Squirrel Defense 5000. Plans are being drawn up for an all out assault against the enemy's stronghold with all the delicious tidbits waiting inside. About the time the bark is given to start the offensive, sentry squirrels detect the sound of a nearby neighbor refilling their bird feeder so the assault is called off for another day as the troops all scamper to the neighbors defenseless buffet. The commander squirrel turns and looks one last time at the Squirrel Defender 5000 speaking what would become famous words...."I shall return!"

And so the war goes on....

Good reason why panman keeps this near his plants. He can always run outside with it and scare off the squirrels

We did get this surveillance photo the other day. Things are definitely escalating.

Things are really getting serious. This guy is hanging out above the SD5000. He's expecting mass casualties, I suppose.
