I have been working on turning my mud pit into something nicer. I think I'm ready to start making my bogs. These are wooden pallet boxes. Pond liner was the plan but it's a tad pricey. Does anyone have a suggestion on what to line these with?ImageImage

Nice boxes! You can use liquid rubber (waterproofing paint) but I'm not sure that's cheaper than pond liner. For one of my old projects, I got a large rubbermaid tote and built a wooden box around it... you might try to see if a rubbermaid tote will fit in the dimensions you want?

That is great. My biggest problem using totes like that was that the sun would destroy them in 2 seasons. The boxes around them will keep them cooler and keep the sun from rotting them.

This is much more work than I bargained for Image they are coming along slowly. I'm trying to decide if once they start growing I won't care about the gaps and the fact that I can see the totes or if I should fill them w something. ImageImageImage
