I did these pics for my own knowledge but maybe someone else will be able to benefit, too. They are the maturing seed pods of Drosera capensis, along with a pic of the seeds produced. You can see the blackness growing from the tip of the pod until it reaches the stem. It goes no further before the seeds are ready to be shed. Anyhow, FWIW...
