Hey there everyone, I just wanted to show off a new plant in my collection. Platycerium Superbum! This is one of my favorite Platycerium species because of the shield fronds it produces. A little banged up during shipping, but it looks healthy. Definitely bigger than the other staghorns I have. I made a crappy side mount out of a plastic pot I had, I plan on mounting it to a wood board eventually. Image

A little update, its been about 4 months now. Its growing a HUGE new leaf very quickly. It didnt do much for the first 2 and a half months until it started growing this leaf around the end of march. Probably the fastest grower, and biggest leaf out of the 3 species I have. I need to mount it to something soon, but I'm not sure what I'll mount it to, yet. Image
