All of my plants are in rather ugly looking setups. While this kind of look has its charm, I've been thinking about making something nicer but don't have many ideas.

Does anyone know of examples of setups for nepenthes, pinguicula, or cephalotus that look good?

TBH my setup is for VFTS and looks rather “home made”.
But it would helpful if you posted a picture it would make it easier to give recommendations
on ways to upgrade.
I figured pics of my setup would give insight.

Mine looks rather ugly as well lol. I use those red solo cups, some plastic pots from outside and those food sauce things that my pings came in. All of these sit in some plastic tupperware to store food as the “trays” of water lol. Then there’s foil on the back of the shutter to reflect light back to the plants from the window.

Yes that’s a locker shelf to raise them up.

Sorry, just saw this.

I think the secret is uniformity. Same limited set of pots, same labeling, even same water trays. My setup isn't going to win any awards but I think it at least looks neat and tidy.

Although your plant Set up might not be all you want? Everything looks healthy and growing great. It's definitely a process to get everything organized. And I have learned it's more about giving the plants the place they are most happy :D

Back in Ancient Times when I first decided to grow Orchids, I made a conscious decision to only grow plants that liked my default household conditions. I just wasn't going to set up highland or lowland areas or anything similar, even if my favorite orchids liked to grow in a cool mist. I wanted a minor challenge, not a major one. Eventually, when I switched to CPs, I kept the same philosophy. Which is why I grow sub-tropical rosetted sundews and Mexican Pings. Sure, once in a while I'll try to push the boundaries - you can see a bunch of humidity-domed pots in my pic - but generally, I just want to relax with my plants, not get aggravated by them.

Wow! So simple and true lol Your setup looks really good the standardization and uniformity really makes all the difference. One of these days I’ll try to do an organization and repot/arrange my plants in a standard way. Thanks for the great tip!
