I have this thing about getting my plants yet because I like to see them grow.

However, where can I find seeds or a very young plant of something like this?

Ping seed is typically hard to come by, small pings less so. You might want to try a ping specialist like Cascade Carnivores and see if they'll sell you something small. Another thing you might do is try to obtain a ping leaf pulling for leaf germination. You might be able to get someone here to give or sell you one. Put an entry in the "Sales, Trades & Wants" sub-forum and see what you get.

Where are you located?
I have a great little hybrid, emarginata x jaumavensis that I need to divide. You cover shipping and I could send you one if you're in the US.

Mexican pings go through a dry “dormancy”. They are so cool! ;) They change to small succulent leaves in winter with hardly any water needed (like a cactus or succulent). They don’t need temperature drops like sarrs and VFTs just less water. However when in succulent mode, they are not carnivorous.

I got all my pings from Rainbow Carnivorous Plants and Curious Plants. I just don’t like the shipping costs  More convenient to get a bunch at once but I started with only one ping and then my :cough: addiction started lol. They are very easy to grow.

That variety from the photo you sent is P. Florian or Ehlersiae “Victoria”. They are beautiful pings. Some similar looking ones are also Debbertiana and Esseriana. There are so many varieties of pings to pick from, it’s crazy. If I’m able to successfully propogate a bunch, I will probably start giveaways or something like that

Shoot me a PM with your address. I'll try to find a small box to keep shipping costs down, but, being in a military town, I always have a neighbor moving. They even take small boxes.
Once it's sent, I'll send you my PayPal info along with what it cost. Plan on about ~$10 as I may have to use a flat rate box if I can't find a small box around here.
I will probably divide it this weekend, so it would be sent early next week.
