Recent addition decided to bloom for me a few month later. Dainty little thing.

Gracilis, its hybrids and relatives are wonderful, easy, vigorous additions to the ping collection. They reproduce on their own without any real effort by the collector. Recommended.

That's a nice looking gracilis! Mine made like 5 new growth points (so it looks weird) and it is like 3 inches away from my 300W grow light but it stays green as grass which is super annoying.

Also, whenever mine flowers it just opens right at the base of the growth point so it can't open all the way because of the other leaves.

Yah. This one opened barely above the leaves. I think it is actually upside down and won't be able to right itself round....if it does such a thing. I'm used to seeing my ping ibarrae with 13 cm stem. Nice to know mine isn't the only one to be weird.

Sorry, an easy ping that reproduces quickly, flowers easily and will eventually fill its place with a solid mat of plants... You can use the green to accent the pink hues of the more colorful pings and throw in a couple of cyclosecta for contrast. I'll gladly take that.
