I picked up some of these tray inserts at growerssolution.com. there are 38 to a tray and are 5 inches deep. I am hoping to use the for my pitcher plant seedlings. I'll let you know how it goes.

I know a couple of people who have something similar, smaller sized, but they use them for drosera. They save up and mix all their excess non temperate dew seeds, fill the cells with peat/perlite, sow a pinch of seeds in each cell, then sell each cell, after germination and some decent growth, for about $10 plus shipping. Those cells would probably be more like $15, but could potentially get 20+ little plants each.

Do those fit decently in a 1020 tray then? I actually get all my trays and stuff from them anyway since they're literally on the other side of town from me and they just let me pick my stuff up there. I looked at those trays last time I got some stuff but just went with the short 50 cell trays to be safe, but I may grab some of those next time, if so.

Those are awesome. I wish I had those when I planted a ton of VFTs last year. The depth would allow you to grow some fairly decent sized plants before a repot becomes necessary. Definitely looking into some of these going forward. For 5 bucks take my money  Thanks for sharing

They fit perfectly in a 1020.
