So, my husband and I were spending a weekend around Lake Superior, looking at waterfalls and stuff, when he waved me over to come look at this cliff.
There were hundreds of butterworts on it! I didn't realize they grew so far north in the US! One of them even caught a cranefly while we were watching. It was awesome.
I'm guessing these are P. vulgaris given that it's apparently the only species in the area. Really cool surprise.
