P. vulgaris ssp. Macroceras near Port Angeles, WA. Didn't catch them in bloom, but they're cool nonetheless!

not P.vulgaris subsp macroceras but simply P.macroceras subsp macroceras

the species P.vulgaris in the USA is only found in the east on the shores of the great lakes

Thank you very much for your information! I was hoping somebody more knowledgeable would clear up some confusion I had on whether it was a species or a subsp.
