I went to OBI for something unrelated, but I ended up picking up this VFT. I noticed after I bought it that it had a really tiny child too, so I got two for the price of one.

Here's a comparison with my other VFT who I've been owning since last October and it's very easy to see how light deficient the new one is. I am currently slowly introducing it to more and more sunlight.

Also the middle of it and the traps being deep red suggests to me that it's a red dragon? Though I'm not an expert, I just know that it looks similar and that people finding cultivars like red dragons and dentates in stores like Walmart and such.

I know it's much bigger than my older VFT was when I bought it from the same place and brand and everything so I'm looking forward to what becomes of it.

Unless it's sold as a named cultivar by a reputable seller, it's a typical. It might be a really good looking typical that has characteristics if a cultivar, but it's still technically and officially a typical.
People don't find "Red Dragon" or "Dente" at Walmart, they find typicals that are expressing genes that make them look like "Red Dragon" or "Dente".
Nice find though.
