The "Hiroshima" clone is from Y's exotics imported from Japan by Carnivero
Seems to be hardy, takes the Carolina summer heat well and grows in the window in the winter.

I put one bettamin pellet in the largest pitcher after a month and each new pitcher over the winter.

That's great news optique! We have just finished moving to Cordoba, it's bloody hot here. I've been wanting a Truncata for a long time now, once we finished settling in, I want to get one. How dos it handle winter temps?

It seems to grow just fine in a large west facing widow. I am sure it would grow better in perfect conditions in a grow tent or green house but it seems to grow and do fine open air in my backyard and window.

@optique, It's looking very good, as good as some I've seen growing in greenhouses. Nice job!
@Camden M, I love the foilage of Truncata!

Believe it or not, I didn’t have any truncata in my collection. Until this thread. Now I will have

Nepenthes truncata (JB x (c)-A), CAR-0206
Nepenthes truncata, Hiroshima

Thanks to Optique for posting photos. I like the look of the plants

So would you guys say that the hiroshima and (JB x (c)-A) grow well in solid intermediate conditions (about 64-66 at night)? I might take advantage of the sale at Carnivero
