No, that one is still adapting to the windowsill. It is working on new pitchers though! It was light starved back where it was before so I had to move it.

I don't know the parentage of the hybrid I photographed, I got it as a cutting off of another grower. It has smaller pitchers than the bokorensis x 'Candy Dreams'. Don't think it ever gets particularly large, considering the size of the mother plant's pitchers.

Your undulatifolia looks a lot different from mine! Do you think it's age, genetics, or something else?

Also, pitcher that just popped.

Hmm could be genetics or different locality. Mine came from AW. Mind share what yours look like? Rarely get to compare undulatifolia.. Image

Mine came from Carnivero. We stopped there on the drive across the country and I bought whatever Nepenthes species were in stock that I didn't have. The undulatifolia didn't take off like most of the others did when I settled it in, it lost a lot of pitchers and then bounced back with a vengeance a few months later and has been growing steadily since. Looking at the old image on the website where the exact plant is still listed (though as out of stock) it's obvious that it has grown. I'm seeing the start of the peltate, wavy leaves.

Woo how lucky of you to be able to visit! Bet you got some interesting photos there too! Yours appear more toothy and elongated than mine, very interesting beauty. Maybe we can compare again when yours mature in a few months :)

I didn't actually get to go in - we got there on the weekend and the guy was nice enough to let us go to his house to pick up the plants. I did get to go into RedLeaf Exotics though, and I did take a number of photographs there. Be happy to compare them again later.

You're not the first person to notice that my undulatifolia is "toothy". I think it's just because the pitchers are small, so the teeth are more noticeable, but it's fun to entertain the concept that it's jealous of its hamata roommate.

Nice new pitcher. This one just keeps trying to outdo itself.
