Idk what is happening but my venus flytrap keeps closing by itself. I think I've seen a mite or 2 there or it's ur springtails I'm confused

You can poke one with your finger. If it “disappears” then it’s a springtail, if not then it might be a pest. Pests that look like springtails are thrips. Usually thrips are a bit longer and the antennae are shorter. They move fast too. If you see small webs on the leaves especially around the cilia then it might be spider mites. Spider mites are usually as tiny as dust particles and you have to look especially under the leaves. Thrip damage is usually deformities on the leaves. Spider mite damage occurs at first on the cilia as brown dots and then on the traps and petioles as brown dots or scratches. Sending a picture would be the best thing to do for us to identify what is wrong.
