Got my first sundew in the mail today, i went with drosera capensis “red”

I’ve literally had it on the windowsill for a day and it already got something

Congrats on your first dew. I’m curious tho where did you get it from? I don’t mean to freak you out but it might have pests? I hope I’m wrong about this but the way some of the leaves are curling looks deformed. Might just be from shipping and needing to be acclimated to your environment. Hopefully someone with a lil more knowledge can tell you.

I got it from predatory plants, same place I got my vfts from earlier! I think it’s from shipping like you said I rinsed them with distilled water before potting them and checked for anything crawling and I didn’t see anything! PP Ships them in a plastic bag so it coulda been that,

Yeah i bet its shipping, dont worry, my sundews killed off everything then just grew back.

I also put it with my vfts so a little higher humidity, my apartment is kinda on the colder side so I moved it away from the window and to my grow lights because o mean the medium was cold
