Finally got some decent photos of my Dionaea 'St. Patrick's Beard' today! Hope you all enjoy them as much as I do. I giggle a little bit every time I look at the plant or photos up close

Matt, I have a substantiated theory that St. Patrick’s Beard is no longer any different from cheerleader. I was looking through the international carnivorous plant societies website when I found information on St. Patrick’s Beard from 2011/2012.

St. Patrick’s Beard was selected from a seemingly mutated culture of cheerleader. At the time it did have distinct traps from cheerleader, however I have yet to see a St. Patrick’s Beard look like it did in 2011/2012. I’ve left a link to the pdf on the icps website.
