Typical highlight conditions. It is an EXTREMELY slow species (I’m going to say, at this size, it produces a new pitcher and a new leaf once every few months).

Ok, good to know. I have a lowii hybrid and Heliamphora that are pretty much that slow as well. I guess, the helis are a little faster than the lowii hybrid.

I grow many helis and even they outpace my mollis :lol:. Lowii (slowii) is probably an equally sluggish species though…

We are right at halfway through our photo contest this month. There are some terrific photos of pitchers, but sarracenia is greatly underrepresented. Why is that?

It's not a hybrid, I think it's just a really nice one that popped out of a commercial propagation. And I can't really comment on the speed. Mine is growing pretty fast but I've been super active with giving it maxsea.

Here’s one of my pitcher plants. It finally started growing up instead of down. I hope I didn’t put to much sphagnum on top.
