Hey everyone,

I got some new lights which were great, but they are VERY HOT. I used magnets to attach it to the top of the IKEA cabinet, but the adhesive used to attach the magnet to the lights melted. It resulted on the lights falling and crushing a Heliamphora parva x pulchella, squishing my one remaining scorpioides (I think he'll survive), and was 1/4 inch away from crushing my Nepenthes. It didn't crush it, but it did leave some big burns. Is there anything I should/can do?

What's even more sad is I got a really nice pitcher and the leaf it was attached to got the worst of it :(

I just have it in with my other plants right now and I'll probably leave it there until someone says otherwise. Thanks!

That is unfortunate but at least it isn't fatal. That plant looks very healthy and probably won't suffer any effects of getting toasted.
