Beautiful! Can't believe you just found it roaming in your yard! Must have been quite a surprise... and a delightful one at that!

There were 2 and quite frankly they scared the @#$& out if me at first. because they were so close.
Very shy and timid. But noisy when they're doing the mating dance thing....

I saw a ring-necked pheasant here a year or two ago. That was very strange.

I live in Florida and I always see them in the cow pastures with their babies this time of the year
