So yea, I'm collecting isopods now. Rollie pollies, pill bugs, sow bugs, and no I don't feed them to my plants. I pay too much. I have 5 types/species/varieties:

Porcellio laevis 'Dairy Cow'
Porcellio laevis 'Milkback'
Porcellio scaber 'Lottery Mix'
Armadillidium maculatum 'Zebra', 'Spotted', 'Chocolate'
Armadillidium vulgare 'Wild Type'

I used to raise dubia roaches too for my sugar gliders. Every time someone tried to steal a glider I'd feed them one and they'd get grossed out.

Wait you collect them too? Panda kings are super expensive and Cubaris doesn't seem active. I like the Porcellio species. Desktop Porcellio scaber setup:

I've got a bunch, too, but I let them free range outside around the edge of the house so the sun can shine on their faces and the wind can blow through their hair. I was contacted by a Hollywood producer that wanted to do a semi-sequel to "Free Willie"...yep, it was gonna be "Free Rollie". But then the rolliepollies started trying to unionize and the demands they came up with were just too much so the producer backed out. Now they just wonder around sniffing rotted sticks and leaves and telling bad centipede jokes. They could've been stars!!! What a shame!!! :(
