No, They are definitely not for outside. I am looking in to getting one for outside that is much larger and stronger. I did not realize you have cat(s). There are other small types that are glass/plexiglass that would maybe work but they cost more.

That Wayfair one almost made me spit out my water lol. It’s definitely nice but outside my price range for sure. It’s something I could maybe eventually save for but yeah disability doesn’t pay enough for big purchases at once. That Etsy one wouldn’t be as hard but also makes me wonder if I could just buy the materials and get my partner to help me build one.

I have to see how it goes with my next plants before I know whether or not I indeed am lacking a green thumb or just had previous bad luck with regular plants.

If the carnivorous plants end up being something I’m better at then I can see myself investing a good deal into it long term.
