Is my Leigh Wilkerson sick?

This was pulled out of dormancy last week. I did not notice anything wrong when I pulled them out. No chemicals have been sprayed on or around but I now am noticing these reddish brown spots on the plant. Any idea what this might be? I looked really close and did not see any bugs. I use distilled water mixed with our regular water which is roughly 35 TDS. This is the only plant that I have seen this on.

Hi Andy

If you are talking about the brown marks on the older leaves, that's perfectly normal. They are anthocyanins that has congregated around damaged areas. The areas can be old wounds from sap suckers or similar, but as the new growth looks to be undamaged I wouldn't worry. Any critters would normally go for the soft new growth but it is strong and straight indicating normal growth.
Cheers
Steve
