i added some water to each pitcher for some hydration but wondering is this ok?

It should be fine, especially if it had no liquid in the pitcher to begin with. If the fluid in the pitchers is evaporating, you can refill them with water. If the pitcher already has water or fluid made by the plant, then there is no need to fill it with water.

well to be honest i just repot it and had to turn the plant upside down to get it from its old pot so i noticed it dripped some liquids and i refilled them all the pitchers with water but i won't do that again

Can't say I haven't topped up empty Nepenthes pitchers with plain old H2O.
