We don’t have much rivers around here (besides the Columbia, which is still a bit far). Maybe I’ll collect some rocks if I’m near a river.

What's the humidity set to? I just set mine to 70 for 8 hours when I go to bed and thats it cause it's usually always atleast 50% humidity. When I had it really close to my table and when it was at 80 all day it started to grow mold, so make sure that you have it atleast 2ft away from the table cause it might grow mold if you don't.

I just turned it on and left it. I need to buy a hygrometer for my room.

Hehe well I ended up just turning it onto 80% humidity 24/7 now cause I got a new zero water pitcher.
