Highlander akadama recipe?

So I bought a N. rajah from Florae Collaborative. It wasn't packed so great and they got akadama all over the package. I'm really not having great experiences with them and it will be my last purchase from them. They once shipped my order to another grower - after I let them know, they did refund my money, but no offer for any sort of discount on my next order. My future emails go unanswered, even with new orders in their system...)
Anyway, this is more about the mix more than my crap experience with FC.

My question is more about what they add to the akadama, it seems like there may be very little, but still some sort of LFSM with it. Anyone have experience with a mix primarily made up of akadama, for highlanders? I'd ask FC, but they don't reply to me.

I just mix them with some peat moss, perlite/pumice and coco coirs. So far no carnivorous plant has rejected this mix. I use the medium gravel size and hard for softness. The ones from japan are of supreme quality with the down side of over $50 per bag.Image

thanks. I can not easily find pumice, but I have the big size perlite. Never tried coco coirs at all. I am afraid because of the salts.

Tbh akadama and peat itself should be sufficient the rest are just placebos for additional air flow and peace of mind lol.
