These seedling VFT’s were planted on 6/8/22. The seeds were from eBay, advertised as “seeds of superb giant varieties”, seller sam1greentmb. I have had about 98% germination from these seeds, with the resulting seedlings showing nice variation and color. Grown under t5 lights. I highly recommend these seeds! One of the seedlings in this particular pot is producing a flower scape. Is this unusual for an 8 week old VFT? I have never seen it

It's not unheard of but not very common either.

Wonder what’ll happen if it sets seed… Are there any nearby flytrap flowers it can cross with? Could create higher probability of this happening in the future with the seeds. (Could, don’t quote me)

Will have to see what it does. I have Bimbo and Flexx in bud, might get lucky and get concurrent blooms. Even so, it is hard to imagine this little guy producing a seed, much less a seed pod. Thanks for the responses!
