'Eight Ping' pileup?

Relatively new to pings. Picked up two last September (a Pinguicula 'Sethos' and a Pinguicula Ehlersiae). The Sethos appears to be acting 'odd'. Started off as one set of leaves, then noticed two in the same "ball". Two started flowering, now when I count them it's at eight.

What's going on? Do I have 8 separate plants here, or is it one that's just growing weird?

It probably just divided. You can separate them (carefully) or leave them be.

Honestly, I'd wait cause I'm not an expert on pings.

I count at least 7 crowns there. If you don't have space for a bunch of extra pots you can leave it be. If you have the room, you can separate them.

Yeah - I'd wait. If you try too early, before the plants basically start pushing themselves apart, you will end up with a LOT of inadvertent leaf pullings. Once they are further along in their division it is a cinch to tease them apart. Enjoy your abundance of 'Sethos'!

these plants are ehlersiae, for my part I would separate them

for the 'sethos' if this is also the case also separate them otherwise with their large leaf risk of suffocation
