Started these from leaf trimmings three weeks ago. Being that they’re so small, would you folks recommend putting them through a milder dormancy (than the parent plants) this autumn? My intention is to build a bog garden for these and some purple pitchers plants next month. I live in the Berkshires zone 5b.

Dormancy isn't as important to younger plants. It is required at maturity, but for the first year or two, they should be fine without it. I wouldn't put them in dormancy just to make sure I don't kill the plants as they don't take cuttings of themselves in the wild; they spread by seed and in the warm spring, germinate, and have a full year to mature before getting cold dormancy.

I grow many of my plants in a dark basement under lights that are on for 14 hours a day, temps at 72 degrees, and my temperate plants will go dormant in the fall without fail, so your milder dormancy idea will work fine. Just make sure the airflow is good, keep an eye out for mold, and treat promptly if/when it occurs, and they will be ready to go next spring.

Thanks, I usually put my VFTs in the basement in a west facing window for Winter, the temp is typically around 50-55 degrees… hopefully they’ll like to winter over in the same conditions.

That should work very well, better conditions then I have anyway.
