Thanks! It comes from good genetics :) I'm using 90% perlite, 10% live/dried sphagnum

That's it! Maybe if I try that substrate my cyclosecta won't hate me. Not sure why I struggle with that species, but it just never resembles the glorious purple gems that I see in other people's pictures.

cyclosecta is a calcareous specie for me .
the purple leaf border is just a matter of UV
