Good morning friends.
The first flower stalk on my capensis "Mini Red" was somehow damaged during growth, but didn't die. It appears that it may have been successful in producing at least a few seeds.
I'd like to give them away as I don't have room for yet another indoor plant, and I don't want to put just a few seeds into the bank. Just in case nothing happens, I will also include a portion of freshly harvested seeds from my capensis "Matroosberg Pass" so that you'll get two chances at nice Capes.
Both of these Capes came to me by way of Evenwind as contents in experimenting with different shipping methods. My Mini Red lives up to its name by being small (its biggest leaf was about two inches total), and does turn red in decent lighting. The Matroosberg is my biggest Cape, and its biggest paddles alone exceeded two inches this year.
Giveaway is open to all members, US and international, I will cover postage.
Standard boring format:
1. Eeny
2. Meeny
3. NO MINEY! For every miney I see, I shall deliver harsh words to a kitten!
4. Hey Moe!
Drawing this weekend sometime.
Aaaaand go!

Edit: These are my seeds, not seed bank seeds, so this does not count as a seed bank request.

Ooohh, you went there. I'm off to find a kitten to berate and waggle my finger in its face.

Sorry for always asking this but..... Do you have a picture? A mini cape sounds really cute. Also, you said it was its first flower stalk that was damaged. Does that mean there is a second coming?
