Hey all,

I got a new cape sundew a few months back that was growing nicely indoors under my 14 hours a day white YESCOM 225 growlights, and it finally started to flower. However, after it flowered it now looks kinda poopy.

Is that normal? Anything look wrong, or just flowering taking up its energy?

Yeah mine did this too, looks a bit worse than yours actually. From what I’ve heard this is normal and it’ll kick back after the flower stalk dies.

Yeah, mine flowered in late spring and looked terrible during and shortly afterwards. After I cut off the dried stalk it came back very quickly. The first leaves were shorter than previous, but very vigorous. In a month it was putting out 4-6 leaves a week. It's about halfway through a second flower cycle right now and looks pretty shabby but I'm sure it will come back once the flowers are finished.
