FYI it says to sow seeds in late fall so as long as you hop to it, you should be okay.

You'll want to sow D. pauciflora in early fall, and then expect to see germination as the temperatures start to decrease in winter. Heavy feeding is recommended during their first season so they build up a hefty taproot before summer dormancy. I can count on one hand the number of people selling true D. pauciflora seed at the time... if your seed was purchased from random sellers on Etsy/eBay I would expect it to be improperly labeled. Even reputable sellers such as the late Allen Lowrie have distributed D. trinervia seed as D. pauciflora in the past.
