Argentii in Intermidiate?

GC had Argentii in stock a little while ago for a really great price(unsurprisingly). I know that a lot if not all species of Nepenthes can be grown a level under what’s recommended (a.k.a. if it’s Highland then it’s possible grow it in intermediate). When I look at Nepy, it shows the bottom end of that range to be 1400 M. So, could I grow Argentii in intermediate?

Technically yes. 1400m is in the intermediate range. That's the same as hamata and yours seems to be growing fine so I'd give it a go.

Personally, I'm too scared to try growing argentii. It's a notoriously picky species despite the rather harsh habitat it grows in suggesting it should be very tolerant.

Oh, if that's the case maybe not.

Maybe if I were to put frozen water bottles in an inclosure and slowly ease it out of it. I wonder if it has such a notorious rep because people are to scared to try things with it.

I know several people who grow it and they all warn me against trying it without a specialized highland setup. It really is too bad because it's a nice species.
